PTC Heater Assembly Conversion Kit for the Lather Time Professional Lather Machine.   NOTE: You will not receive any instructions for installation.  It is recommended that you only attempt to install this part if you are familiar with the Lather Time units and their operation/assembly.

Details:

• PTC stands for Positive Temperature Coefficient heater.

• Unlike older resistance heating elements, a PTC heater is self-regulating, meaning it automatically limits its temperature as it heats up.

• This helps prevent overheating, improves energy efficiency, and provides more consistent lather temperature.

You would typically install the LATHER-14 kit if:

• Your original heater has failed.

• The machine is no longer warming lather properly.

• You are converting an older Lather Time machine to use the newer PTC-style heating system.

It's different from the standard LATHER-11 Heater Assembly, which is simply a direct replacement heating element. The LATHER-14 is specifically marketed as a conversion kit, meaning it upgrades the machine to the newer PTC heating design.
