We have not been able to locate a"notched" razor at a fair price so we had our razor manufacturer make one for the ABBS line. "Notched" simply means the blade is recessed into the body of the blade holder. This makes for safer shaving and fewer cuts and nics from the blade corner. This is a basic, simple razor at a lower price point that is designed for stylist, students and others who don't do much shave work or are working to perfect it.
Inserting blades is simple with a "scissor" opening to allow blades to be placed on the blade guide.
Made of Stainless Steel now in a great looking satin finish (may show slight scratches that will smooth in over time as razor is handled more).
Uses 1/2 of any standard double edge blades. The ABBS razor blade works great at a great price. Available here.
