In the "old days" this type of shear was often called a "Filipino" Shear.  Long with a large shank for barbers who needed the size for big tasks.  This shear is more finely crafted than the old ones. 

Ice tempered, razor sharp featuring a blade tensioner for precise blade tension and a fixed tang.  Beautiful polished silver finish with removable finger pads.  Comes in a protective cardboard case for easy storage or transport.
